Dr. Shelby Goff, a 2019 graduate of Mississippi State, has special interests in feline and small mammal medicine. She enjoys kayaking, cooking, and spending time with her family and orange tabby cat.

Dr. Kathryn Brothers, a 1998 Auburn graduate, specializes in internal medicine, geriatrics, oncology, and surgery. Outside of work, she enjoys family time, volunteering, travel, and caring for her beloved pets.

Dr. Alan Scott, a 1993 UGA graduate, enjoys orthopedic and soft tissue surgery and has been with Gainesville Veterinary Hospital since 1994. Outside work, he loves running, golfing, and time with his family and pets.

Sheila's employment background includes many years in management in the resort industry.  Her passion since childhood has been rescuing countless stray cats, loving all dogs and wildlife. Sheila wants only the best for each animal. This led to her career change by accepting the Practice Manager position at Gainesville Veterinary Hospital in 2001.  She has led many teams here and enjoys our clients immensely

Gainesville Veterinary Hospital is the region's oldest practice. Founded to treat animals large and small, it now specializes in comprehensive care for family pets.

We proudly serve the pets of Gainesville, Murrayville, Oakwood, Lula, Clermont, and beyond.
